Like ODI, New Zealand is still waiting to capture ICC World Cup trophy in their hand, although the presence of specialist hard hitter and strong bowling attack make this team different from other teams.

As also known as choker’s, they have the ability to play in any situation because of their outstanding batting combination of hard hitters specially (AB devillier), Quality bowlers (Dale Steyn) and sharp fielders present. But the history shows that they failed to perform well in big matches.

World champion of 2012 in this format and gives steady performance because of the power hitter from 1st position till 9th position and they have the only players who are representing in all leagues of T20 format.
World champion on 1st edition in this format was held at 2007 in South Africa, beat their subcontinent rival Pakistan. After the introduction on Indian Premier League they introduce some quality players in this format and show the combination of strongest batting line-up amongst all the teams and remains at number 1 position in ICC T20 cricket rating.
